Are you concerned about legislation that affects the practice of medicine?
Do you have an idea for legislation that will help make Virginia the best place to practice medicine?
If yes, the Medical Society of Virginia’s Annual Legislative Summit is your opportunity to present your ideas and suggestions for MSV’s 2013 legislative agenda.
This year’s Legislative Summit will be held on June 1 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at MSV’s office in Richmond. Please plan to attend this important event to share your ideas with your colleagues, MSV leadership, and MSV staff. We ask that member physicians, local and specialty societies, and related organizations submit their legislative proposals and supporting documentation through a fillable PDF form that can be found on our Web site www.msv.org/legsummit by May 15.
The MSV Legislative Committee will meet at a later date to review the recommendations from the summit, identify and prioritize the legislative agenda items, and make recommendations to the MSV Board of Directors for the 2013 legislative agenda.
